We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Flanders Powell Funeral Home
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Nathan Dean Parker (Nate), 39, who passed away on May 21, 2022. He was a perfectionist, articulate with his words, and sharp in his appearance. Nathan was a gentleman who had a keen eye for elegance and class. Most of all he was a kind soul with a heart for people. He had a way of always making people feel welcome, accepted, and most of all loved.
He is preceded by his maternal grandparents, Edwin Elliott & Esther Mae Gooding, and his paternal grandparents, Buford Oren & Annie Elizabeth (Betty) Parker. He is survived by his parents, Teddy & Susan Parker, his BFF Sister, Jamie Munsey, his precious nieces, Izzy & Londyn Munsey. Also, his brother James Parker and his teenage niece and nephew Madison and Ethan Parker; several close aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Our hearts are broken by this unexpected loss, and he will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. at The Bridge Church.
Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Doctor Lawrence Butler officiating.
