Kathrine Mccoy

Mrs. Kathrine Floyd McCoy, 74, passed away at her residence on Monday, April 26, 2021. Mrs. McCoy was born in Statesboro on March 15, 1947 to the late Freeman and Leona Anderson Floyd. She was employed with Head Start as a bus driver for over 20 years and then as a paraprofessional for four years. Mrs. McCoy was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church and enjoyed watching hummingbirds and the wildlife at her home.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Donald George “Donnie” McCoy and one son, Calvin Deloach.

Survivors include her daughter, Donnette McCoy Marriott and her husband Levi of Pembroke; two grandchildren, Isaac Marriott and Joscelyn Marriott both of Pembroke and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Morrison Memorial Chapel.

Burial will follow at Lawrence Baptist Church Cemetery.
