Diane Jarrell

Mrs. Diane Quattlebaum Jarrell, age 65, passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 25, 2021. She was born in Eustis, FL on August 2, 1956 to the late Gordon C. and Rheunell Daughtry Quattlebaum. Mrs. Jarrell was a member of First Baptist Church of Ellabell and she enjoyed woodworking, drawing, flowers, cactus plants but most important of all, she loved being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by four siblings, Fran McMillan, Patricia Caudill, Robbie McMillan and Charlie Quattlebaum.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, John Walter Jarrell, Jr.; four children, Raymond Carey Jarrell and his wife Andrea of Lapeer, MI, Jessica Jackson and her husband Frederick of Groveland, Melissa Sue Jarrell of Ellabell and Samantha Gregory and her husband Mike of Troy, MO; ten siblings, Rose Bass of Rincon, Joyce Turner of Rincon, Shelby Lauck of Hog Valley, FL, Gloria Dean Jackson and her husband AL of Alabama, Patsy Witt of Hog Valley, FL, Carey Quattlebaum of Beaufort, SC, Willie McMillan of Umatilla, FL, Danny Quattlebaum and his wife Vivian of Leesburg, FL, Sonja Jarrell of Vidalia and Kim Gillespie of Claxton; 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend J. Walter Jarrell, Sr. officiating.
