Carlean Vangiller

Mrs. Carlean Brown VanGiller, 83, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Hospice Savannah. Mrs. VanGiller was born in Nashville, TN to the late Jasper Brown and Mildred Juler Brown on January 6, 1938. She was employed with Rexnard for two years in production and enjoyed flowers and spending time with friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry VanGiller; two sisters, Marie Orr and Joann Tensily and grandson, Tracy Moore.

Survivors include her son, Robert VanGiller (Judy) of Ellabell; two daughters, Marsha Hargett (James) of Eldora and Sandra Dyer (Gary) of Ellabell; brother, Bobbie Brown of Goose Creek, SC; three grandchildren, Brandy Lewis, Renee VanGiller and Scott Dyer and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2021 from 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Chapel.

Burial will be held at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
