Mr. Ben Hiram Zeagler, age 74, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Pruit Health. Mr. Zeagler was born to the late Ben P. and Myrtle V. Waller Zeagler in Savannah on September 8, 1948. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Mercer. He later owned and operated his own business, Zeagler Construction for 27 years and enjoyed fishing, gospel music and work.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ben P. and Myrtle V. Waller Zeagler and two brothers, Joseph P. Zeagler and Grady O. Zeagler.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Vivian Lee Toole Zeagler; son, Reverend Shawn C. Zeagler of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Tracey L. Casey and her husband Jim of Pembroke; sister, Virginia W. Collins of Statesboro; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating.

Burial will be held at Marlow Cemetery in Guyton with military honors.

Flanders Powell Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Ben Hiram Zeagler.
