Ellabell- William “Roger” Drew, age 74, died Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. Mr. Drew retired as a pipefitter for Union Camp and was of the Baptist Faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Drew also enjoyed golf and was a member of Richard T. Turner Masonic Lodge #116 F & AM. He was predeceased by his wife, Lottie Cowart Drew.
Survivors include his daughter, Jeannine D. and Bobby Taylor of Springfield; sons and a daughter-in-law George M. Henry, Jr. and David and Karrie Henry; brothers and sisters-in-law Daniel and Cindy Drew, Paul Aaron and Kandi Drew, and J. Ronald and Violet Drew; sisters and brothers-in-law Margaret and Wendall Griffith, Myrtle Watson, Judy Drew Bland and Daisy Futch; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday at Rambling Creek Campground. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, 200 Donahue Street, Statesboro, GA 30458
