William Craig Anderson, born on July 31, 1956, in Claxton, Georgia, passed away on April 16, 2026, at his residence in Statesboro, GA. He was 69 years old.
A graveside service in remembrance and celebration of William's life will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the DeLoach Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
William was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 20 years, Deborah Kaye Anderson; his parents, Lenwell Anderson and Dorothy Lavonne Anderson; his son, Justin Craig Anderson; and his brother, Jackey Len Anderson.
He is survived by his two devoted children, Heather Tanner and her husband James, and Christopher Lynn Anderson, both residing in Statesboro. William also leaves behind a loving brother, Gene Anderson of Statesboro, and his cherished grandchildren: Briceton "Brice" Anderson Tanner, Jason Evan Tanner, and Addilyn Grace Tanner.
William was the proud owner and operator of W.C. Auto Sales for 10 years, where he dedicated his life to the business and the customers he served. Beyond his professional endeavors, William held a deep love for fishing and cherished the moments he spent with his family and grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his warm spirit, the love he shared with his family, and his unwavering passion for life. William's presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Arrangements are being managed by Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory.
