Mr. William Boyd “W.B.” Findley, 87, passed away at his residence on Tuesday morning. Mr. Findley was born on December 19, 1928 in Clyde, GA to the late Perry Boyd Findley and Ollie Virginia Carter Findley. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was employed by Bryan Oil Company with 35 years of service, did carpenter work was an avid fisherman, hunter and also enjoyed woodwork.

Mr. Findley is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Betty Jo Findley; brother, Elbert Findley and three sisters, Betty Ruth Findley Myrick Seymour, Shirley White and Wilda Myrick; granddaughter, Tammy Ann McCullough.

Survivors include two sons, Lavon Findley (Annette) of Ellabell and William E. Findley (Beth) of Metter; three daughters, Amanda Crews (Eddie) of Sylvania, Cindi Joann Roberts (Charles) of Savannah and Candace Darlene Richardson (Brian) of Pembroke; two brother, Ellington Findley of Richmond Hill; three sisters, Estell Clark of Pooler, Catherine Wilson of Richmond Hill and Miariam White of Hinesville; five grandchildren, Sebrina Hendley, Katie Findley, Mandy Ussery, Eddie McCullough, Jr. and Samantha McCullough and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 6 – 9 p.m.at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Lawrence Butler officiating.

Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
