Mrs. Verna Kay “Katie” Hendrix Scott, 55, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born on November 19, 1962 to the late Ralph Vernon Hendrix, Sr. and Sarah Ann Hall Hendrix. Mrs. Scott was the owner and office manager of Hendrix Plumbing and enjoyed flowers and loved animals.

Survivors include one daughter, Amber Reeannon Scott and her husband Jacob Anthony Fonchey of Guyton; brother Ralph Vernon Hendrix, Jr. and his wife Tiffany of Ellabell; sister, Shree Ann Stewart of Eden; grandchild Jaxson Anthony Fonchey; aunt, Dianne Hendrix of Eden; uncle, William A. Hendrix of Springfield and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 P.M. on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
