Susan Macher

Mrs. Susan Crawley Macher, 71, passed away at her residence on Friday, June 4, 2021. Mrs. Macher was born on December 6, 1949 to Ivey C. and Nora Mae Cannon Crawley in Macon. She attended the University of Hawaii and Mercer University and was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. She was the former owner and operator of Galaxy Ceramics in Savannah and then went to work for the Saddler Group as a manger. She later worked as a showroom designer and consultant for Laco Tile and completed her works as an interior designer and Dial Tile in Savannah and Hilton Head. Mrs. Macher loved interior design and was also an artist.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bill Crawley.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, John R. Macher, Jr.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jim Sullivan officiating.
