Storm Bridges

Statesboro-  Storm Russell Bridges, age 69 passed away Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at Ogeechee Area Hospice after a long illness.  Mr. Bridges was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and later served in the Air National Guard.  He retired as a truck driver and most recently served as a greeter at Wal-mart in Statesboro.  He was predeceased by his son Jimmy C. Scott, II.

Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Ahrendt of Iva, SC; one sister, Marty Bragg of Colorado; two brothers, Ralph Bridges of Oliver, GA and Kerry Joe Bridges of Colorado; three grandchildren, Rachel, Andrew and Jessica and one great granddaughter, Lily.

Visitation will be 1-3 P.M. Monday, Jan. , 2015 at the funeral home.  Funeral service will be 3 P.M. Monday in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.  Interment will be private.  Flandersmorrisonfuneralhome.com
