Stacy Kevin Strickland

Savannah-  Stacy Kevin Strickland, age 55, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024.  Mr. Strickland was born in Savannah, GA to the late Marcus Wendell Strickland and Lula Alene Blanton Strickland.  He was the former police chief for the Pembroke Police Department and was the former pastor of Riverside Baptist Church in Daisy, GA.  Stacy was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons and was a Shriner.  He loved hunting with his son, Shayne; enjoyed wrestling and bonfires with his family in his back yard.  

Survivors include his son, Shayne Kalen Strickland and his fiancé, Channing Wood of Guyton; significant other, Jessie Orzechowski; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendell Allan and Barbara Strickland of Swainsboro, Robert Monnie Strickland, Sr. and Marcia Strickland of Guyton and one sister, Diane Strickland of Bloomingdale. 

A memorial service will be held at Noon January 26, 2024 at Sandhill Baptist Church with Gary Jarriel officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire.
