Mrs. Sandra June Hembach, 78, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 13, 1937 to Robert and Eleanor Miller Johnson in Huntington, New York. Mrs. Hembach was a member of Pembroke United Methodist Church, an avid gardener, also enjoyed reading, exercising, traveling and most of all spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Nelson Hembach and sister, Judith Pike.
Survivors include five daughters, Linda Lombardo (Fred) of Prescott, Arizona, Denise Stephenson of Pasacoag of Rhode Island, Donna Hancock (Daylon) of Savannah, Georgia; Patrice Poythress (Don) of Pembroke, Georgia and Laura McCullough (Johnny) of Lyons, Georgia; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 3 – 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jesse France officiating.
Burial will be private.
