Russell Scott Carter

Russell Scott Carter, age 42, passed away July 23, 2025. Mr. Carter was born in Savannah, GA to the late Stanley T. Carter, Sr. and Mrs. Sandra Kay Screen Carter. Russell was the former owner and operator of Carter’s Screen Rooms and worked with Holcombe Painting. He loved to hunt and fish and could build practically anything. In addition to his father, Russell was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gene Screen and grandmother, Peggy Berryhill.

Survivors include his son, Carson Carter; daughter, Kenzington Carter; mother, Sandra Carter; brothers, Stanley Carter, Randy Carter, David Carter and Chris Carter and sister, Kelly Carter.

A graveside service will be held 10 A.M. Friday, August 15, 2025 at Northside Cemetery.
