Ms. Ronella Christine Dasher, 94, passed away on September 1, 2015 at Candler Hospital. She was born in Marlow, GA to the late Carl Christian Dasher and Annie Nease Dasher on January 9, 1921. Ms. Dasher retired as a bag machine operator after 38 years of service with Union Camp. Granny enjoyed keeping her yard full of flowers, sewing, crafts, puzzles and playing games with her family. Ms. Dasher was also the oldest living member of Sand Hill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Grady, Roger William and Carl Junior Dasher; sisters, Celia Elizabeth Brown, Lee Inez Dasher and Elfie Alberta Dasher.
Survivors include her daughters, Collister Ann Webb Keeling of Jacksonville, FL and Teresa Roberts (Carey) of Ellabell; brother, Ronald Edward, Sr. (Ernestine) of Guyton; sister, Ella Ruth Dasher Forstrom of Evansville, WI; grandchildren, Joseph LeRoy Guy, Jr., Sheila Marie Hinson (Russ), Gwendolyn Lee Guy, Rachel Roberts Howell (B.J.) and Timothy Lamar Roberts; Great-grandchildren, Dillon and Bryan Hinson, Lacey and Luke Howell and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the church.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015, 11 a.m. at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Dasher officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
