It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paula Carlene Crousore, beloved mother, sister, friend and especially, mamaw. She left us peacefully on Saturday, October 10th, 2026, at the age of 63. Paula was born in June of 1963, near Louisville, Kentucky, and later made her home in Ellabell, Georgia.
Paula was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Troy Crousore; her loving grandparents, Gerald and Pauline Clark; her dear parents, Glendle and Alice Clark; and her cherished sister, Glenda Berkley. She is survived by her beloved sons: Dennis Crousore and his wife Katie, Mark Crousore and his wife Shannon, and Donovin Crousore. Her legacy lives on through her grandson, Riley Crousore. Paula is also survived by her brother, Roger Clark and his wife Savdy, and Troy’s parents, Janet and Don Crousore, who will all miss her dearly.
For many years, Paula served as a dental hygienist at Aspen Dental, where she was known for her gentle touch and caring nature. Her commitment to her work was mirrored in her family life; she was a selfless and devoted mother, wife, and Mamaw, who fully embraced the role of a military wife and mother. Paula was particularly renowned for sending the most thoughtful and abundant care packages to family & friends serving in the military, always ensuring they felt loved and supported from afar.
Paula had a passion for crafting and thrifting and found joy in yard sales, always searching for that special item to brighten someone’s day. Her innate generosity extended beyond her immediate family; she had a knack for making everyone feel welcome, especially during the holidays. Paula's home was known for its warmth and hospitality, where no one was left to spend Thanksgiving alone. She was an exceptional cook, famous for her holiday feasts that brought love and laughter to all who gathered around her table.
Her kindness, sharp wit, endless humor, and infectious spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Paula will be remembered for her unwavering love, her ability to spoil her family and friends without restraint, and her extraordinary ability to make any gathering a celebration. Her greatest joy in life was being “Mamaw” to everyone she met and adopting them into her family; she truly never met a stranger.
Arrangements for Paula have been entrusted to Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will be announcing Celebration of Life parties in both GA and Kentucky soon.
