Paul Albert Kuntz Jr., a cherished resident of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on Monday, September 19, 1938, in Elmira, New York, Paul was a man of great integrity and kindness, whose legacy will be forever treasured by his family and friends.

Paul devoted 22 years of his life to serving his country with honor and dedication in the United States Army, proudly retiring with commendable service. Following his military career, Paul brought his dedication and work ethic to the Industrial Tractor Company, where he worked diligently as a mechanic for 25 years. His commitment and expertise in his field were admired by colleagues and customers alike.

Paul’s love for his family was profound and steadfast. He is survived by his loving son, Paul Albert Kuntz III of Pembroke, and his devoted daughter, Laurie Jones, and her husband David of Ellabell. His legacy continues through his four cherished grandchildren: Paul, IV, Tiffany, Jimmy, and John, and his three beloved great-grandsons, Jacob, Alexander, and Caleb.

Known for his passion for reading, Paul cherished the solace and adventure found within the pages of a good book. His life was also enriched by the companionship and support of his special caregiver, Daniel Teed, whose kindness and care were a beacon of comfort in his final years.

Paul was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 61 years, Savilla Mae Kuntz, whom he adored and honored throughout their life together. He was also preceded by his parents, Paul Albert Kuntz Sr. and Bea Harvey, two brothers, one sister, his daughter-in-law, Kellie Robinson Kuntz, and his beloved grandson, Matthew Kuntz.

As we celebrate Paul's remarkable life and bid him farewell, we reflect on the joy and love he brought to all who knew him. His memory will resonate in the hearts of many for years to come.

A private memorial service will be held to honor Paul’s life, reflecting on the beautiful legacy he leaves behind.
