Obituary

Nolan Keith Geiger, 65, of Pembroke, Georgia, passed away on December 23, 2025.Keith was a man full of personality—curious, clever, and endlessly entertaining. He had a mind for trivia and an impressive memory for details, especially when it came to movies, history, and little facts most people would overlook. He loved sharing what he knew, often slipping bits of information into conversations just for fun, and he delighted in seeing others learn or laugh along with him.

He enjoyed time spent with family and found comfort in family gatherings, good food, and shared stories. A natural tinkerer, Keith could fix almost anything and, if needed, build it himself. He inherited his love of fishing from his father, a pastime that stayed close to his heart throughout his life.

Keith also loved to cook—especially for a crowd. He took pride in smoking meat and creating his own seasoning blends, meals that brought people together and will be remembered with warmth. Above all, he loved making people laugh. His goofy expressions, silly songs, and playful sense of humor were unmistakably his and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Geiger; his children, Christopher Geiger (wife Ann) of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Staci Jagoe, also of Charlotte; the mother of his children, Penny Bolen Geiger; his stepchildren, Michael Corley (wife Malenda), Thomas Corley (wife Dana), and Hollie Messick; his sisters, Cindy Knight of Stilson, Emily McDaniel (husband Glenn) of Pembroke, and Lisa Geiger Noe (husband Richard) of Hoschton; his grandchildren, Avram and Nathaniel Jagoe, Silas, Parker, and Nora Geiger, Gavin Patterson, and Tori Messick (fiancé Jesse Miller); his great-grandchild, Braxton Patterson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and countless loving cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nolan and Earline Geiger; his son-in-law, Robert Van Jagoe Jr.; his brother-in-law, Wayne Knight; and his beloved longtime four-legged companion, Roscoe.

Family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.

Keith will be remembered for his humor, his curiosity, his hands that could fix and build, and the way he brought laughter and conversation wherever he went.
