Nancy Beasley

Mrs. Nancy Mae Lee Beasley, 69, passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Monday, October 5, 2020. She was born on September 1, 1951 to the late Jake and Lena Mae Lynn Lee in Claxton. Mrs. Beasley was a loving homemaker and seamstress.  She was of the Baptist faith, loved shopping, fishing, camping with her family and crafting with her sisters.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Donna M. Beasley; three brothers, J.L. Henderson, Milton Henderson and J.W. Lee; two great grandchildren, Randall Iverson Newman, III and Gavin Dale Newman.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Meady C. Beasley; son, Tony Phillip Beasley and his wife Lori; three daughters, Tracy Lynn Thompson and her husband Aaron, Jamie Nicole Bridgers and her husband James and Crystal Marie Beasley and her husband Randy; two brothers, James Lee and his wife Judy and Williard Lee and his wife Iris; three sisters, Lettie Wiginton and her husband Ted, Sophie Freeman and her husband Sidney and Mary Bargeron and her husband Steve; five grandchildren, Stephen Beasley, Justin Thompson, Austin Thompson, Shyan Thompson, Hudson Thompson and Maddison Bridgers; 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.

Burial will be private.
