Pembroke-Mr. Stephen Daniel Rogerson age 46 passed away Sunday February 17, 2013 at Ogeechee Area Hospice while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Rogerson was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Desert Storm in 1990 and 1991. He was a Central Office Supervisor with Pembroke Telephone Company where he was a faithful and valuable employee for 17 years. He was a member of Pembroke Christian Church where he served as a Deacon, and Vice-Chairman of the Board. He was also a member of the VFW and American Legion Post # 164. Steve loved woodworking, making stringed musical instruments and was an avid GSU football fan. He was predeceased by his mother Donna Marie Milliken.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Paula Clark Rogerson of Pembroke, son Mark Aaron Rogerson of Pembroke, father and step-mother Neil and Genny Rogerson of Molalla, Oregon; sister and brother-in-law Linda Cowart and Tim Landauer of Yamhill, Oregon brothers and sister-in-laws Wade and Jennifer Rogerson of Portland, Oregon, William and Denise Devine of Memphis, TN, and Robert and Heather Devine of Condon, Oregon Creston Rogerson of Kenniwick WA; mother and father-in-law Marsha and B. J. Clark of Pembroke, Brother-in-law Mike Clark of Savannah; several cousins and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-9 P.M Tuesday February 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral service is 10 A.M. Wednesday February 20, 2013 in the chapel with Reverend Jim Sullivan officiating and military honors observed. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
