Brooklet-Mrs. Mickey Lynn Polly Pollard age 59 passed away Friday February 21, 2014 in Brunswick. Mrs. Pollard was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Brooklet. She loved her family and crafts, was very artistic, and also a very good cook with excellent baking skills. She was preceded in death by her parents Maynard Ray and Gladys Dale Polly and her father-in-law Paul Franklin Pollard.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Paul Pollard, Sr., two daughters and sons-in-law Misty and Robert Underwood of Brunswick and Joanne and Jason Joiner of Brooklet; a son and daughter-in-law Joseph Paul, Jr. and Tina Pollard of Richmond Hill; her mother-in-law Josephine Pollard of Brooklet, two sisters and brothers-in-law Audrey Farris and Jack Myers of Ocala, FL, and Ida Louvina and Robert Martorelli, eight grandchildren Marcy and Justin Smith, Jonathan and Kate Lank, Maranda Lank, Josie Lynn Underwood, Robert Underwood II, Jason M. Joiner II, Kirstyn Cardwell, and Justin Ray pollard, and a great-granddaughter Lillian Smith.
Visitation is 6-9 P.M. Thursday February 27, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Friday February 28, 2014 in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating. Interment will follow in Brooklet City Cemetery. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
