Ellabell-Mrs. Linda Carol Scott age 68 passed away Sunday May 26, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Scott was a longtime residence of Ellabell and a member of Faith Harvest Sanctuary. She was an employee of Sommer's Oil for 28 years. She loved her children and grandchildren and was a special lady who saw good in everybody. She was a loving, giving person who thought of others before herself. She was predeceased by her parents William I and Oveda Taylor Avery.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Wendell C., Jr. and Jennie Lane Scott of Bloomingdale, daughters and son-in-law Pamela C. and Keith Sims of Ellabell and Bonnie Allen of Ellabell; brother William L. Avery II of Collins, sister Marjorie Morton of Cochran, four grandchildren Rebecca Week, Lonnie Sims, Randy Sims, and Marvin Allen; and three great-grandchildren Rosa Weeks, Lillianna Week, and Ledger Sims, and other family members.
Memorial service : 11 A.M. Saturday June 1, 2013 at Faith Harvest Sanctuary in Ellabell with Reverend Tony Hewitt officiating.
