Pembroke- Mrs. Julia Margaret Conley Ennis age 86 passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at Bryan County Health & Rehab while surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Ennis was a longtime resident of Pembroke; a homemaker and a member of Beulah Baptist Church where she belonged to the Beulah Lights. She was an avid gardener and loved her collection of keepsakes. She is predeceased by her husband of 52 years Raleigh Ennis, parents William P. and Maggie Sapp Conley, sister Gail Lanier, brother R.L. Conley, and step-son James Edwin Ennis.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws William P. and Margaret Ennis of Townsend, and Terry and Eva Ennis of Wilmington Island, daughters and son-in-laws Florine and Donnie White of Guyton, Vera Mae and Raymond McCoy of Pembroke, Delores Joyner and Emory Yant of Pembroke, and Marcia and Wendell Wells of Pembroke; brothers and sister-in-law Vinson and Dannis Conley of Pembroke and Benny Conley of Augusta, sisters and brother-in-law Betty Gibson of Claxton, Mary Howard of St. Marys, and Alice and Mike Van Buren of Atlanta; special friends and long-time neighbors Theresa and Pewe Herb, 18 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a number great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 5-8 P.M. Monday, April 29, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating. Interment will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
