Ellabell- Mrs. Judy Poppell Davis, age 66 died Wed., Feb. 12, 2014 after an extended illness. Mrs. Davis was a retired secretary from the Georgia State Department of Transportation and was a member of South Newington Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and caregiver to her husband and children. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Howard Davis.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Damon and Charlotte Davis of Guyton and Matthew and Danielle Davis of Savannah; daughter and son-in-law Tia and Larry Adkins of Bulloch County ; sister and brother-in-law Regina P. and Mike Sanders of Savannah; grandchildren Makayla, Andrew, Katie, Madison, and Natalie; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 3-6 P.M. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Monday, Feb. 17, 2014 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Rev. Steve McCoy officiating. Interment will follow at 1 P.M Monday at Hillcrest Abbey West. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
