Savannah- Iris Dukes All passed away Monday, June11, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Mrs. All was born in Pembroke, Georgia on November 13, 1915. She was the daughter of Dollie Harn Dukes and William Perry Dukes. Mrs. Dukes graduated from Bryan County High School at the age of 16. She graduated from Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, Georgia with a degree in Fine Arts Education. She received a master's degree from Peabody College of Education and Human Development in Nashville, Tennessee and taught school in Millen, Pembroke, LaGrange and at Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, Georgia. Mrs. All moved to Savannah, Georgia in 1943, where she resided the remainder of her life and continued her elementary teaching career in the Chatham County Public School System. She was principal of Carrie E. Gould Elementary school for 25 years and during that time took a leave of absence for one year to teach in Occupied Japan. Mrs. All was a lifetime member of Pembroke United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Julius Paul All.

She is survived by her step-daughter Susan Lynn All and numerous cousins including Elizabeth Harn of Pembroke, Jim Harn of Pembroke, Melinda Harn Smith of Savannah, David Harn of Savannah, Anna Z. Blair of Raleigh, N.C., Diane Z. Morgan and Kay Z. Hagins both of Statesboro.

Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Northside Cemetery in Pembroke, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Georgia College. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements
