Ellabell-Mr. Charles Alford Crosby age 63 passed away Wednesday July 31, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Crosby was a Navy veteran and was self employed as a carpenter since he was 16 years old. He is predeceased by his father Hubert Crosby and a brother Joe Crosby.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years Dolly Walls Crosby of Ellabell, mother Lillian Steele of Clito, three sons and daughter-in-laws Michael and Donita Crosby of Ellabell, Bobby Behel of AL and Larry and Tina Behel, Jr. of Florance, AL, four daughters and son-in-laws Michelle Jolly and Candace Eason both of Birmingham, AL, Aimy and James Myers and Debra and Roger Miller all of Ellabell; two brothers Rodney Crosby of Sylvania and Johnny Crosby of Clito and a sister Kaye Rowe of Savannah; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 6-9 P.M. Friday August 2, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Saturday August 3, 2013 in the chapel with Reverend Danny Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home of Pembroke is in charge of arrangements.
