Michele North

Statesboro- Michele Iris North, age 65 passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation.  Mrs. North was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 23, 1954 to the late Alexander Bernard Avzar and Estelle Marcus Avzar.  She was a graduate of American National University where she trained as a pharmacy technician.  Mrs. North worked in medical records and accounting for the federal government in both Port Hueneme, CA and London, KY.  She loved to shop, enjoyed board games and loved taking care of her dogs.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Cameron Crowe of Pembroke; son and daughter-in-law Alex and Emily North of Pooler; sister, Stephanie Alvarez of Canada and several nieces.

A memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, July 5, 2020 in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating.
