Michael Jacobs

Tybee Island-  Michael David Jacobs, age 72 passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018.  Mr. Jacobs was born in Savannah on August 29, 1946 to the late George Keith Jacobs and Alberta Werkley Jacobs.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran and served as a Seabee during the Vietnam War.  He was also retired as a self-employed master carpenter.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by his son, Jerrell Jacobs.

Survivors include his companion, Faith Graffis and numerous other family members.

A memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the American Legion Hall on Tybee Island.
