Melissa Ann Newcity

Mrs. Melissa Ann Newcity, age 58, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Newcity was born in Savannah on September 27, 1965 to Billy Jack Cribbs and Mildred Cribbs. She was a loving and caring home maker and enjoyed spending time with her friends, family, grandchildren and her chocolate lab, Kane. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Newcity and father, Billy Jack Cribbs.

Survivors include three children, Steven Cribbs and his fiancé Tami Moore of Rincon, Toni White of Pooler and Chirstopher White of Madisonville, TN; sister, Sarah Blair and her husband Wallace of Brooklet and eight grandchildren, Jordan, Ethan, Maria, Alisha, Katie, Jermaine, Ja’Tavian and Ta’Niya.  

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Memorial service will follow in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
