It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Martha Diane Crummey, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 15th, 2026, in Vidalia, GA. She was born on Monday, June 8th, 1962, in Atlanta, GA.

Martha was a dedicated and hardworking individual who found great joy in her career as a truck and bus driver at Savannah Technical College. She was known for her commitment and reliability, touching the lives of many students and colleagues throughout her career.

In addition to her professional life, Martha was a woman of deep Baptist faith. She had a passion for gardening, sewing, and shopping. These hobbies brought her immense joy and allowed her to connect with her community and express her creativity.

Martha’s love for her family was unparalleled. She is survived by her sons Paul Jenks (Patti) of Pembroke, Chris Jenks of Ellabell, James Bramblett (Laura) of Texas, and Dillan Bramblett of Ellabell; daughter Teresa Houndshell of Berlin, New Hampshire; brothers, Lacy Drake of Jackson, Georgia and W.L. Kersey (Betty) of Ellabell; and sisters, Ann Caton of Jackson, Georgia and Christine Jordan. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless happiness and pride.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Willy Arthur Kersey and Doris Hunt Kersey; and a sister, Norma Jean Kersey who would surely have cherished their daughter’s many accomplishments and the deep love she had for her family.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory in Pembroke, GA on Friday, February 20th, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Chapel Service in celebration of Martha's life will be held at the same location on Saturday, February 21st, 2026, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory.

Martha’s kindness and generous spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
