Margaret Sapp Hill

Pembroke- Margaret Amelia Sapp Hill, age 79, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025 at Westwood Health Center in Statesboro. Mrs. Hill was born in California to the late Mack M. Sapp and Thelma Omega Sapp. Mrs. Hill was a longtime resident of Adel, GA and Chatham County before moving to Pembroke. She was a member of Believers Church of Statesboro. Mrs. Margaret enjoyed sewing and crocheting. During the pandemic, she made mask for the Pembroke Senior’s Center and many others. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Leigh Bridges; one brother, Ronnie DeLoach; one sister, Nan Sue Silva and one granddaughter, Brandi Leigh Reynolds.

Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Lynne and Everett “Jimmy” Griffin of Pembroke and Sky Layne Duggar of Savannah; 3 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Thursday, July 24, 2025 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
