With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Fay Terry Myers, affectionately known to many as Nanny Fay or Nanny Fay-Fay. Linda left this world peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at her residence in Ellabell, GA.

Born on Wednesday, April 18, 1956, Linda was a beacon of love and generosity to all who knew her. She dedicated her life to being a homemaker, creating a warm and nurturing environment for her family and those around her. Linda's innate ability to care for children, whether they were hers or not, endeared her to many families in her community.

Linda was a cherished member of the Salem Baptist Church in Metter, where her presence was a source of strength and kindness. She loved spending quality time with her family and found joy in the simple pleasures of life surrounded by those she loved most.

Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, James Edward "Eddie" Myers, Sr.; parents, Mr. Charles Terry and Mattie Mae Huggins, and her siblings, Bill Vincent, Frank Vincent, Brenda Vincent, and Marie Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted family: two sons, James Edward Myers, Jr. (Aimy) of Ellabell and Eugene Edward Myers of Metter; two daughters, Cindy Myers of Rincon and Patty Vitangeli (Shawn) of Ellabell; a brother, Jerry Vincent (Bonnie) of Claxton; and a sister, Cathleen Martinez of Savannah. Linda is also survived by her cherished 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home. Following the visitation, the funeral service will be conducted in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory, ensuring that Linda's final journey is handled with dignity and grace.

Linda Fay Terry Myers will be remembered for her unwavering love, her nurturing spirit, and the lasting impact she made as a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
