Pembroke- Leslie Scott McKinney, age 55 passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017. Mr. McKinney was born February 27, 1962 to the late Milton and Doris McKinney. Mr. McKinney was a life-long resident of Pembroke and formerly worked at Pembroke Propane and later at Express Packaging. In addition to his parents, Mr. McKinney was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Anderson, four brothers, Michael and Gary McKinney and Raybon and Rufus Kangeter, and one granddaughter, Lucy Hoilman.
Survivors include his son, Christopher McKinney of Pembroke; one daughter, Doris Shaye McKinney of Erwin, TN; one granddaughter, Makayla McKinney; two brothers, Eric and Adam McKinney and one sister, Sharon Kangeter.
