Lawrence Ralph Raulerson

Lawrence Ralph Raulerson, a beloved resident of Pembroke, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026, at the age of 69.

Born in Jesup, on Friday, August 31st, 1956, Lawrence lived a life marked by dedication to his family, business, and community. For 26 years, he was the proud owner and operator of Raulerson's Wrecker Service. His passion for motor vehicles was evident not only in his professional life but also in his personal pursuits. As a young man, he was known for racing go-karts and later embraced drag racing. Lawrence had a deep love for hot rods and antique cars, and he cherished the thrill of riding motorcycles.

Outside of his professional accomplishments and hobbies, Lawrence was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. However, nothing brought him more joy than spending quality time with his family. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 42 years, Tonya Raulerson, who stood by his side through every twist and turn of life.

He is survived by his six loving children: Sherry Thomson (Scooter) of Richmond Hill, April Young (Alan) of Pembroke, Lisa Larson and her fiancé, Bob Gillespie, of Richmond Hill, Holly Spacek (Matt) of Pembroke, Sy Raulerson (Ashley) of Ellabell, and Dalton Raulerson of Pembroke. Lawrence doted on his 13 grandchildren: Warren, Landon, Madison, Jeffrey, Jenny, Cliff, Megan, Kendal, Mattie, Maverick, Paiten, Maddox, and Knox, as well as four great-grandchildren: Chloe, Clay, Rory, and Rhodes, with another great-grandchild, Aspen, on the way. He is also survived by his two sisters, Deborah Raulerson Powell (Jimmy) of Richmond Hill and Linda Bragg (Dave) of Ellabell, along with countless nieces, nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Roy I. Raulerson and Mamie Reddick Raulerson, and one sister who passed away prematurely.
