Ellabell- Kitty Davis Myers, age 64, passed away Thursday, April 02, 2015 while under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. Mrs. Myers was a member of Beulah Baptist Church for over 30 years where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was an excellent cook and her layered chocolate cakes and chicken casseroles were favorites with her family and among her church family. Mrs. Myers also enjoyed gardening and canning. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph “Cooter” Davis.
Survivors include her husband of over 45 years, James A. “Junior” Myers of Ellabell; mother, Helen Rita Carter of Ellabell; daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Ashley Conley of Ellabell and Rita and Ryan Cobb of Ellabell; brothers, Buddy (Teresa), Renard (Becky), Dows (Haroldene), and Don Davis, all of Ellabell; sister Faye Hendry (Dennis) of Vidalia; grandchildren, Derrelle and Baylee Conley and Trevor and Kaylee Cobb and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5-8 P.M. Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday, April 6, 2015 at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Bulloch Memorial Garden. Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
