It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Isaac Jenks Sr., a beloved resident of Ellabell, GA. Kenneth departed this world on Monday, October 13th, 2025, at the age of 67. He was born on a Sunday, April 20th, 1958, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to Joseph and Mary Ann Jenks, who preceded him in death.
Kenneth was known for his dedication and hard work as a Pest Control Technician for over 15 years, serving with Tony Adams Pest Control. His expertise and commitment to his work were admired by colleagues and clients alike.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Sara Louise Jenks.
Kenneth is survived by his cherished family: three sons, Kenneth Jenks, Jr. of Effingham, Paul Jenks (Patti) of Pembroke, and Christopher Jenks of Ellabell; his loving stepfather, Elmer Paul Bodnar of Savannah; two more brothers, Michael Bodnar (Beverly) of Guyton and Emrick "Ricky" Bodnar (Taleah) of Eden; and his dear sister, Rose Marroquin of Savannah. He was a proud and affectionate grandfather to five grandchildren: Layla Jenks, Savannah Jenks, Kaylee Jenks, Lizzie Jenks and Cami Dowd. His legacy continues through numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will fondly remember him.
Family, friends, and those wishing to pay their respects are invited to a visitation on Friday, October 17th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, October 18th, 2025, at 11:00 am at Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel, where we will gather to celebrate Kenneth's life and share in our collective loss. Burial will follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
