June Seymour

June Kaye Seymour, 77, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019.  Mrs. Seymour was born on October 17, 1941 in Youngstown, OH to the late Floyd William and Margaret Vance Dickerson. She was employed with Tifton Orthopedic Clinic as a radiographer, studied at Youngstown University and was a member of Bible Lutheran in Rincon. Mrs. Seymour enjoyed horses, the beach, judging gymnastics but most of all being with her family.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Leon Seymour and brother, Jim Dickerson.

Survivors include her children, John Seymour and his wife Tracy of Crestwood, KY, Kim S. Johnson of Valdosta, Heather Godwin and her husband Todd of Ellabell, Sean Dickerson Seymour and his wife Lesa of Ponce de Leon, FL and Leif Erik Seymour of Savannah; sister, Jean Pearson of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Cameron Scott Seymour, Benjamin Seymour, Joshua Seymour, Alden Bass, Danielle Buckley, Kennedy Godwin, Talmadge Godwin and Mary Catherine Seymour.

Friends will receive family on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Hansen officiating.

Burial will be private.
