Ellabell, GA – Judy Holloway Price, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 78. Judy was born on September 28, 1947, in Bartow, Florida, to Carl and Vernell Turner Holloway. Her kind and gentle spirit will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Judy devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family. She was a nurturing and selfless woman whose greatest joy came from loving and caring for those she loved, always placing the needs of her family before her own. As a devoted homemaker and exceptional caregiver, she relished the simple pleasures of life, including quilting, collecting dolls, rocks, and shells, and most importantly, creating treasured memories with her grandchildren. Known for her culinary skills, her kitchen was a place of love, warmth, and togetherness, where family and friends were always welcomed with a home-cooked meal and open arms. For 52 years, she faithfully managed the finances and records of her family's business, Price's Junkyard, with patience, dedication, and meticulous care. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to her family will be cherished always, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Judy is survived by her devoted husband, Jody McClain Price of Ellabell; her children, Wade Price (Wendy) and Julie Hernandez (Ernie), both of Ellabell; and son-in-law Bill White. She was the proud grandmother of Wess White, McClain Hernandez, Rylan Hernandez, EverLeigh Hernandez, Jude Price, and Jake Price. Judy is also survived by her sisters, Myrtle Hall of Springfield and Bobbie Holloway of Metter. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Leigh Price White; her sister, Carolyn Naprstek; and her parents.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a visitation at Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory in Pembroke, Georgia, on Monday, July 20, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service celebrating Judy's life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a woman whose love, kindness, and devotion enriched the lives of all who knew her.
