Josephine Kurowski

KUROWSKI, Josephine (Hosey), 80 of Ellabell GA, formerly of Tolland, Ct., Wife of the late George F. Kurowski, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at St Joseph's/Candler Hospital. Born in Magnolia, NJ, the daughter of Harold and Josephine Hosey. Josephine enjoyed playing the organ, especially during holidays and loved baking, crafting and decorating. The Christmas holiday and Christmas caroling was a favorite for Josephine. She loved sending a card with a special hand written note on birthdays, holidays and other important events. An avid sports fan, Josephine enjoyed watching the Philadelphia sports teams and College March Madness. Josephine loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Kurowski and his wife Kerri of Ellabell, Georgia, Timothy Kurowski and his wife Shawna of Glendale, Arizona, Kathleen Bailey of San Jose, California, her son-in-law, Roger Clark of Sacramento, California; twelve grandchildren - Michael, Chelsea, Taylor, Stephanie, Shelbey, Braiden, Shawn, Brian, Shelley, Josephine, Rowan, and Ellery; six great grandchildren - Raegan, Gracelynn, Kendall, Hunter, Henry and Lincoln; a sister, Carolyn Samalonis of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, KelliAnne Clark and sisters Kathleen Borek and Elizabeth Pytel.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
