John (John Boy) Bragg

Mr. John Bragg (John Boy) age 62, passed away while surrounded by his children and grandchildren on Sunday, October 11, 2020. Mr. Bragg was born on November 1, 1957 in Savannah to the late James Bragg and Juanita Weathers Butler. He was a very loving father and grand father who loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and Eldora friends at Eldora Farms. Mr. Bragg was a truck driver for over 15 years with Express Packaging, Inc. and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends and family and loved working in his yard and building fires. Mr. Bragg was deeply loved and will be truly missed.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Bragg; mother, Juanita Weathers Butler and stepfather, Billy Butler.

Survivors include one son and fiancé, Brandon Bragg (Shelby Lariscy) of Ludowici; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristina Rucker (Terrill) and Kayla Singleton (Matthew) all of Ludowici; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Raymond Hansford (Woodie) of Pembroke, Ken Butler (Wendy) of Pembroke and Wade Bragg; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Wanda Newman of Pembroke, Nancy Robinson (Johnny) of Warner Robins and Tiny Newman of Pembroke and five grandchildren, Cleon Hamilton, Jr., Aunisty Rucker, Auriana Rucker, Alaina Bragg and Payton Bragg.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Northside Cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 the funeral home will limit the amount of guest at one time and ask that guest practice social distancing as well.  Face mask are not mandatory but are strongly recommended.
