John Mcfarland

Mr. John Patrick McFarland, age 55, passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Mr. McFarland was born in Washington, DC to Maurice James and Garnette Todd McFarland on May 12, 1967. He worked in the plumbing and electrical department at Lowe’s for 2 years and enjoyed sports cars, fishing, hunting, cooking, was a WWII history buff and loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Maurice James McFarland and brother, Steven McFarland.

Survivors include his loving wife of 4 years, Karen Bacon McFarland; nine children, Andrew, Ashton, Travis, Megan, Robyn, Elainey, Ethan, Annie, and Shawna; brother, Tim McFarland and his wife Martha of Pembroke; five sisters, Karen Kitchens and her husband Steve of Groveland, Jenny Sapp and her husband Myron Lavely of Savannah, Pam Hendley of Statesboro, Mary Shuman and her husband Russ of Pembroke and Eva Martin of Pembroke.

Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pembroke with Father Tom Murphy officiating.

Inurnment will be private.
