Mr. Jimmie Leslie Webster, age 69, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017 while under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. Mr. Webster was born Dec. 19, 1947 to the late Cecil Byron and Lucille Floyd Webster. He was retired as an engineer with the Dept. of Transportation with over 35 years of service. Mr. Webster also served as a consultant for Environmental Marine and Civil and NXL. He loved to hunt, fish, and ride dirt roads, but most of all he loved his family. Mr. Webster is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Dale Webster and two brothers, Carlton and Daniel Webster.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Rhonda and Craig Fortner of Ellabell and Carman Barfield of Brunswick; one sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Dennis Brown of Pembroke; grandchildren, Austin Fortner and Charlie Barfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation be held 1-2 P.M. Monday, July 31, 2017 at the funeral home.
Funeral service will follow at 2 P.M. in the chapel of Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.
Interment will be private.
