Pembroke, GA – Jessie William Thomas, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at his home in Pembroke, Georgia. He was born on Sunday, March 31, 1963, in Savannah, Georgia. Jessie lived a life full of love, laughter, and memorable moments.

Jessie is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia J. Bibbey-Thomas of Pembroke, who remained by his side throughout their journey together. His cherished daughter, Jesseca Bibbey, and her significant other, Michael Mathis, also of Pembroke, were the light of his life. His deep and enduring bond with his twin brother, Tony Thomas of Pembroke, was a source of great joy and companionship for him. Jessie is also survived by his loving sister, Darlene McCrea of Collinsville, Illinois, as well as several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gadis William Thomas and Ruby Louise Livingston Thomas, and his brothers, Michael and Terrell Thomas, who now welcome him into eternal peace.

In his professional life, Jessie was a dedicated and skilled truck driver, having earned his CDL license. As a self-employed driver, he took immense pride in his work, appreciating the independence and adventure that came with the open road. Jessie was known for being a good provider and for his strong work ethic.

Outside of work, Jessie found joy in playing the guitar and writing songs. He loved restoring old vehicles, a testament to his patience and creativity. Above all, Jessie treasured his role as a supportive and loving husband and father. His close relationship with Jesseca was evident to all who knew him, and his adoration for his family, especially his twin brother Tony, was unwavering.

Jessie's legacy of kindness, love, and dedication will be honored during a private service held at a later date, allowing family and close friends to celebrate his life in a meaningful and personal way.
