Pembroke- Jessie Shawn Dean Calloway age 22 passed away Sunday May 19, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Jessie had lived in Pembroke most of his life and was an electrician with H.A. Sack Company. He was a 2010 graduate of Bryan County High School where he played multiple positions on both offense and defense for the Bryan County Redskins Football Team. Jessie also played varsity basketball for the Redskins and was a member of the Beta Club.
Survivors include his parents Johnny and Sam Cleland of Pembroke and Stacy Calloway and April Gilmer of Lawrenceville; one son Brantley Gage Shuman; one daughter Leah Kate Shuman; grandparents Shirley and Bill Shaw of Griffin, Mary Mixon of Millen, Ruth Dukes of Pembroke, John Cleland of Guyton and Debbie Shuman of Pembroke; one brother Chris Calloway of Ellabell; twin sister Jessica Calloway of Pembroke; fiancAC. Britany Shuman of Pembroke and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 5-9 P.M. Tuesday May 21, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 11 A.M Wednesday May 22, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home with Reverend Shawn White officiating.
