Jerrell Michael Taylor, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5th, 2026. Born on Monday, August 8th, 1960, in Hamilton, Ohio, Jerrell was a man whose warmth, humor, and dedication touched all who knew him.

Jerrell is survived by his devoted wife of 24 years, Kimberly Theiss Taylor, the two have been together 37 years, and his loving sons, Brandon (Mindy) Taylor, Chad Taylor, and Willie Taylor. He cherished his role as a grandfather and found immense joy in his grandchildren, Landon, Layla, and Carli Taylor, showering them with love and attention at every opportunity. His twin brother, Darrell Taylor, and brother, Clarence (Anita) Taylor, along with numerous nieces and nephews, will dearly miss him.

An avid sports fan, Jerrell's enthusiasm was unwavering for his favorite teams, the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. He attended games whenever possible, celebrating victories and lamenting losses with equal passion. Outside of sports, he enjoyed fishing, grilling, and spending time by the pool, creating cherished memories with his family. His love for the mountains and travels back to Ohio reflected his adventurous spirit and fondness for his roots.

Jerrell's love for music, particularly Lynyrd Skynyrd and George Strait, was a constant soundtrack to his life. He found joy in watching NASCAR, proudly supporting his favorite drivers, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Jarrett. Most importantly, Jerrell was a loving father and a good provider, prioritizing the happiness and well-being of his family above all.

Preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Eunice King Taylor, and brothers, Thomas, William, Donald, Paul, Ronald, and Earl Taylor, Jerrell's spirit now joins them in eternal peace.

Jerrell dedicated his career to Pratt Industries, where he worked diligently as a recycling truck driver. Colleagues and friends fondly remember him as a committed and dependable professional, always willing to lend a helping hand.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, allowing all who knew and loved Jerrell to gather and reminisce on a life well-lived. Arrangements have been entrusted to Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory.
