Jenice "Jim" Reid

Mr. Jenice “Jim” Reid, 74, passed away at his residence on August 4, 2018. Mr. Reid was born in Glennville to the late William and Julie Durrance Reid on February 16, 1944. He retired after 20 years of service as a security guard with the Georgia Department of Defense, enjoyed woodworking but most of all, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Gladys Hodges Reid; two sons, Randy Reid and his wife Candy and Timmy Lee and his wife Debbie; five daughters, Tina Barnett and her husband Mike, Bonnie Glisson, Kathy George and her husband Denny, Cynthia Harn and her husband David and Earnestine Peoples and her husband Kenny; sister, Regena Converse; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dan Bryant officiating.

Burial will follow at Northside Cemetery.
