Jason Canas

Mr. Jason Canas, age 43, passed away Monday morning, December 14, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  Mr. Canas was born in Savannah on January 6, 1977 to Alfred R. “Roddy” Canas, Jr. and Marilyn Kathleen Geiger.  Jason was a 1995 graduate of Bryan County High, was a senior communications technician with Comcast, and was of the Assembly of God faith.  He loved racing RC cars, enjoyed fishing, and could build or fix anything from computers to cars.

Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Kristy Connell Canas of Rincon; his daughter, Abigail “Abbey” Rose Canas; parents and step parents, Kathy Geiger and Jerri Frost of Stilson and Roddy and Lynn Canas of Pembroke; sister and brother-in-law, Kelli and Travis Gatewood of Brooklet and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Maranatha Assembly of God in Rincon with Pastor David Riner officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maranatha Assembly of God Royal Rangers, 454 Weisenbaker Road, Rincon, GA 31326.
