James Canady

Mr. James Harry Canady, 65, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mr. Canady was born in Savannah on October 25, 1953 to the late William A. and Hulda E. Canady. He served his county in the U.S. Marine Corps and later worked for TSAY/Ferguson-Williams at Hunter Army Airfield as a boiler engineer. Mr. Canady enjoyed watching NASCAR, working and enjoyed walking his dog, Major.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, John Richard Canady and William LeRoy Canady; sister, Barbara A. Johnson and niece, Denise Johnson.

Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Joyner and her husband Chris; two grandsons, Donovan Joyner and Nicholas Joyner and nephew Ricky Canady.
