Heather Michelle Woods Sikes

Mrs. Heather Michelle Woods Sikes, 45, passed away at her residence on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was born in Statesboro on March 11, 1980 to Grady V. Sikes and Clara Rebecca Wilkes Sikes. Mrs. Woods was a loving and caring homemaker, had a great compassion and love for all animals, she loved to study the medicinal properties of plants, was an avid bookworm and an honorary Gryffindor. She also enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Clara Rebecca Wilkes Sikes and brother, Dwight Sikes.

Survivors include her loving companion of 9 years, Angel Gonzalez; two children, Alexander Woods of Ellabell and Anna Woods of Garden City; father, Grady V. Sikes of Ellabell; five siblings, Rebecca Ann Sikes of Chickamauga, Ga, Mary E. Patterson (Kevin) of Pembroke, Sonya Lynn Pennington (Brian Cowart) of Brooklet, Annie Kate Sikes of Ellabell and Adam Paul Sikes of Ellabell and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Flanders Powell Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Flanders Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Grady V. Sikes officiating.

Burial will be held at the Bethany Church of Ellabell.
