Mr. Gareth Parker Davis, 65, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Davis worked in the road construction business with Jasper Construction Company and was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Vietnam Nam and Germany. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Blitchton, Disabled American Veterans and loved the local auctions.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Brady Wilburn Davis, Sr. and Lucy Parker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Shuman Davis; son, Brian Davis (Patty) of Eden; daughters, Judy Lynn Davis(Tom), Missy Byess (Michael), and Ferra Brown; brothers, Ben Davis (Sandy) of Macon, and Pat Terry (Pearl) of Milledgeville; and grandchildren Brian, Clara, Tom, Cole, Brandi, Blake, Jake, and Tyler.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 6 – 9 P.M. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Darnell Barner and Rev. Danny Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at 3 P.M. at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.
